How to Walk from EST8 Seputeh to Mid Valley Megamall in Just 10 Minutes! 🚶🏻‍♂️

Google Maps says 30 minutes… but is Mid Valley really THAT far away? 🤔

If you’ve heard about EST8 Seputeh, you’ve probably come across one of its biggest selling points: “Walking distance to Mid Valley Megamall!”

Sounds amazing, right?

And when you actually visit EST8 Seputeh, you'll realise something…

WAIT A MINUTE. MID VALLEY IS LITERALLY RIGHT THERE?! 👀

You can practically see the mall just across the road. So naturally, your first thought is:

“Wah, so near! Can just walk there lah!”

But then you open Google Maps to check the walking directions…

30 MINUTES?! 😭

Huh??? The mall is literally right in front of us! Are we supposed to walk one big round just to get there?!

Don't worry. We were just as confused as you.

So, being the curious people we are, we decided to explore the area ourselves. And guess what?

We found a walking route that takes approximately 10 minutes! 🎉

Yes, you read that correctly. 10 minutes instead of 30!

So put on your walking shoes, bring your access card, and follow us. We're going on a little adventure! 🚶‍♀️

Step 1: Find the Side Gate at EST8 Seputeh 🚪

First mission: Escape the condo! (Legally, of course 😂)

Head towards the main entrance of EST8 Seputeh.

Just beside the main gate, you'll notice a smaller side gate for pedestrians.

That's our starting point!

Simply tap your access card to exit.

Pro tip: Don't forget your access card! You still need to get back home later. 😆

Step 2: Follow the Covered Walkway ☂️

Once you're outside the side gate, you'll see a covered pedestrian walkway right in front of you.

Good news! There's a roof over your head, so you won't be directly under the Malaysian sun for this part of the walk. ☀️

Just follow the walkway all the way down.

At the end of the covered walkway, you'll notice a road ahead.

Don't panic! You're on the right track. Continue following the route.

Step 3: Look for the Little Path Near the Construction Area 🔍

Now, here's where things get a little interesting.

As you continue walking along the road, keep an eye on the construction area on your left-hand side.

Walk towards the end of the construction area, and you'll notice a small pathway leading down.

Aha! Our little shortcut! 😎

Follow the path down carefully, especially if the ground is uneven or slippery.

Friendly reminder: Watch your step! We're going shopping, not signing up for an obstacle course. 😂

Step 4: Follow the Curved Pedestrian Walkway 🚶

After coming down the small path, you'll see a pedestrian walkway that curves around the road in a semicircle.

Sounds complicated?

Don't worry, it's easier than it sounds!

Just follow the curved walkway around the road.

Keep going, keep going…

You're already about halfway there! 🎉

See? Mid Valley isn't that far after all.

Step 5: Continue to the Next Pedestrian Walkway

Once you reach the end of the curved walkway, look ahead.

You'll notice another pedestrian walkway on the opposite side.

That's where we're heading next!

Use the designated crossing where available, and continue along the pedestrian path.

No need to rush. Mid Valley isn't running away. 😂

Step 6: Spot the Blue Mid Valley Banner! 💙

Alright, this is an important one!

As you continue walking, keep your eyes open for a blue Mid Valley banner.

Once you spot it, TURN LEFT into the pathway!

This is one of the key landmarks along our shortcut, so don't miss it.

And please, look up from your phone occasionally. We know TikTok is interesting, but the banner won't jump out and say hello to you. 🤣

Step 7: Head Up to the Escalator 🛗

We're almost there!

After turning left at the blue banner, continue straight until you reach the lift.

Head up, and you'll notice the Mid Valley signage.

You know what that means…

WE MADE IT! Well, almost. 😆

From there, turn left and continue walking for approximately another minute.

Step 8: Welcome to Mid Valley Megamall! 🛍️🎉

TADAAAA! YOU'VE ARRIVED!

Not 30 minutes. Not a whole hiking expedition. Just a short walk!

So… Is EST8 Seputeh Really Within Walking Distance of Mid Valley? 🤔

Our answer: YES!

At least based on the route we explored, it's definitely possible to walk from EST8 Seputeh to Mid Valley Megamall in approximately 10 minutes.

The trick is simply knowing which way to go.

While Google Maps may suggest a longer walking route, we found a shorter way during our on-site exploration.

Walking times are approximate and may vary depending on your pace, weather, and accessibility of the pathways. Some sections are outdoors and the route passes near a construction area, so please take care and follow any posted restrictions.
